Product Description

Overview

The 5 Series MSO, which comes in four, six, and eight channel configurations with a sizable 15.6-inch high-definition (1,920 x 1,080) display, provides improved visibility into intricate systems. More than four analog signals must be observed in many applications, including embedded systems, three-phase power electronics, automotive electronics, power supply design, and DC-to-DC power converters, in order to assess and validate device performance and troubleshoot complex system problems.

The majority of engineers can remember instances where they needed more system visibility and context while debugging a particularly challenging issue, yet the scope they were utilizing was only two or four analog channels. It takes a lot of work to align trigger points when using a second scope, and figuring out time correlations between the two displays is challenging. There are also documentation issues.

Cost-Effective Channel Expansion

You'll be pleasantly surprised to see that six channel models are just about 25% more expensive than four channel models, and eight channel models are only about 67% more expensive than four channel models, despite your assumption that they would cost 50% or 100% more than a four-channel scope. By allowing you to maintain the timeliness of both ongoing and upcoming projects, the extra analog channels can quickly pay for themselves.
