The TA5142-RS485W is a serial adapter option board featuring an RS-485 serial port (half-duplex, two-wire) for communication via Modbus RTU or CAA Serial Com.
Incorporates two LEDs (TXD and RXD) for communication status and two LEDs for terminal status. Bus termination is integrated and configurable. Features a W variant for extended temperature operation.
Only compatible with TA5141-RS232I(W), TA5142-RS485I(W), and TA5142-RS485(W) manufactured in 2023. Requires system firmware 3.5.0_hf-7 or higher, and boot firmware 3.5.1 or higher.
