Product Description

Overview

The 5 Series MSO benchtop platform serves as the foundation for the 5 Series MSO Low Profile. There are four, six, or eight FlexChannel inputs on the benchtop 5 Series MSO, which allow you to measure a single analog channel waveform, a spectral view of the analog input, simultaneous analog and spectral views with independent acquisition controls for each domain, or eight digital logic inputs (with TLP058 logic probe). It also boasts the most innovative pinch-swipe-zoom touchscreen user interface in the industry. The most difficult problems of today and tomorrow can be handled by the 5 Series MSO. It raises the bar for analysis, performance, and user experience in general. The low profile device has FlexChannel inputs, an optional arbitrary/function generator output, and an integrated digital voltmeter, just like the benchtop 5 Series MSO.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the benchtop and low profile models?
The low profile model shares the same high-performance foundation as the benchtop platform, including FlexChannel inputs, optional arbitrary/function generator outputs, and an integrated digital voltmeter, but is configured specifically for space-saving rackmount setups.
How many analog and digital channels are supported?
The system features 8 analog channels and can support up to 64 digital channels when utilized with optional digital logic probes.
What bandwidth options are available?
This platform is available in both 500 MHz and 1 GHz bandwidth options, providing calculated rise times of 800 ps and 400 ps respectively.
What is the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resolution?
It features a high-resolution 12-bit hardware ADC, which can achieve up to 16 bits of vertical resolution in High Res mode at sampling rates ≤125 MS/s.
What physical rack sizes does the low profile model fit?
The unit is designed with pre-installed rackmount attachments, a height of 3.44 in (2U space), and fits standard rack depths ranging from 24 inches to 32 inches.
What accessories and warranties are included as standard?
Each standard package includes installed rackmount attachments, an installation and safety manual, embedded help, a power cord, a traceably documented calibration certificate, and a comprehensive three-year warranty.
