Custom Megger MOM690 Micro-ohmmeter with on-board test control Exporter, Products

The MOM690 micro-ohmmeter, with built-in test control, complements our micro-ohmmeter line. In addition to its high current capacity, the MOM690 features microprocessor-based measurement, storage, and reporting capabilities. Built-in software allows for the execution of single tests or a series of tests and storage of results. Test results can also be exported to a PC using the optional MOMWin software for further analysis and reporting.

Product Description

Overview

The Megger MOM690 Micro-ohmmeter with on-board test control is a powerful instrument designed for measuring the resistance of high-current contacts and other transmission elements.

Microprocessor-based Functionality

Features microprocessor-based measurement, storage, and reporting. The built-in software enables users to carry out individual tests or an entire series of tests and store the results. Test results can be exported to a PC for further analysis and reporting with the optional MOMWin software.

Automatic Range Setting

The instrument automatically sets the measurement range, continuously measures resistances, and captures test results at a preset test current.

AC Output Function

After testing a breaker with a CT mounted in its current circuit (such as dead tank and GIS circuit breakers), some standards recommend demagnetizing the CT. The MOM690's AC output accomplishes this task quickly and easily, and can also serve as a general-purpose current source.

Application Areas

Mainly used for resistance testing of high-voltage circuit breakers and disconnectors, as well as contact resistance testing of large-current contacts and other transmission equipment in high-voltage substations and industrial environments.
