The DCS550 Standard DC Drive is a compact and feature-rich drive solution designed for machinery manufacturers. Below is an overview of the product and its specifications:
Features a compact design suitable for both new machine designs and retrofitting existing machinery. Both the control board and power interface board feature coated surfaces, with internally marked C-type cables and tin-plated copper bars, achieving an IP00 protection rating.
Incorporates an integrated three-phase excitation module (up to 35A), multiple communication options, PID controllers, 16 customisable programmable function blocks, and curling software programmes. This minimises the need for additional components when integrating DC drive control.
The standard version incorporates multiple standard hardware interfaces, including connections for encoders, analogue tachogenerators, and four analogue input devices.
The auxiliary control panel, integral to the standard unit, features multilingual alphanumeric display and multilingual help functions. DriveWindow Light serves as a user-friendly commissioning and maintenance tool, ensuring straightforward and efficient start-up and servicing of the DCS550 DC drive.
Incorporates safety functions including overload protection, short-circuit protection, motor de-synchronisation protection, and over-temperature protection. The emergency stop function immediately cuts the motor power supply and halts its movement under any circumstances.
