This set is fully compatible with Megger's 5kV, 10kV, and 15kV insulation resistance testers, specifically matched with the S1 series, MIT 5xx series, and MIT 10xx series (excluding BM11, BM15, and MJ15 models).
The Megger 1008-022 leads have an insulation rating of 12kV DC and are CAT IV 600V safety category rated, ensuring high levels of protection for operators.
Silicone insulation provides superior protection against electric shocks and high temperatures. Unlike standard PVC, it does not melt in high heat or become brittle in cold conditions, and it retains excellent flexibility for field testing.
The white inner insulation layer acts as a visual wear indicator, allowing operators to quickly spot any surface damage, wear, or tear, preventing potential safety hazards.
Each test lead is 3 meters (10 feet) long and comes with a spring-loaded crocodile clip that features a maximum jaw opening diameter of 18mm, alongside 2-inch (50mm) high-voltage plugs.
