Product Description

Overview
The VISIC100SF is an all-in-one tunnel sensor designed to measure visibility (K-value), CO, NO, and NO2 concentrations, tailored primarily for ventilation control in tunnels, measuring visibility when tunnel portals are fog-shrouded, and any scenarios requiring air quality measurement and improvement. It features a measurable range of 0 ... 15 km⁻¹ for visibility (K-value), 0 ... 300 ppm for CO, 0 ... 100 ppm for NO, and 0 ... 5 ppm for NO2, and complies with standards including ASTRA "Guideline - Ventilation of Road Tunnels" (2008), RABT 2006, and RVS 09.02.22.
Boasting robust device properties, it adopts the scattered light principle for visibility measurement, measures CO and NO concentrations in accordance with EN 50545, uses software developed per EN 61508 (SIL1), has an IP 6K9K enclosure rating thanks to a rugged stainless-steel housing, and offers optional integrated heating for fog compensation.
  • One sensor covering three measuring components
  • High reliability and operational safety
  • No requirement for protective measures during tunnel cleaning
  • Flexible connection options for easy extension and integration into existing networks
  • Verifiable visibility measurement via a checking tool
  • Low effort due to simple mounting and quick commissioning, resisting harsh tunnel ambient conditions
